Lovely heritage property. You stay in a heritage Chettiar mansion with good amenities. Great room and bathroom size The staff are very sweet and go out of their way to remember your preferences and serve you well. Excellent food esp non veg, at lunch and dinner. Would recommend also having some light dinner options, as after the excellent elai lunch, it's difficult to consume an elaborate dinner buffet. If you enjoy non veg food esp south indian,you are in for a treat. The property tour along with the Chettiar history talk by the manager Mr Senthil and the morning tour of the village by the staff is excellent. You get a great perspective of the region and their wonderful history.

Very unique hotel and was definitely a highlight for our trip. Staff were beyond friendly and helpful and assisted us through everything. Architecture was amazing and traditional nature made it a very enjoyable experience for us. Learnt about the history of the hotel and the food was delicious. Service was impeccable and this hotel was definitely a highlight to our trip. Swimming pool was great too!

The property has been beautifully restored and bright bang up to date with modern facilities but still retaining the original charm of the Chettinad mansion. The non veg food was exceptional. The GM Senthil was extremely knowledgeable, amiable and friendly. He made it point to connect with the guests personally and helped plan the itinerary in Chettinad. Priya brought in southern hospitality effortlessly and helped with all local transport with a big, warm smile. All the staff were overall very courteous and polite. A great way to step into the luxurious past of the Chettiyars. Perfect for a when’s stay.

It's a beautifully maintained heritage property with exquisite interiors. The staff was extremely polite and courteous. Priya at the reception was extremely helpful. The tour of the villa that was conducted by the manager was very nice and brought the history and lifestyle of the bygone era alive. The cooking class was also a good gesture. All in all I enjoyed my stay.

The hotel is very special, into an old and totally renovated Chettinadu palace, the atmosphere is great, it was nice to stay two nights to enjoy the place. The food is fine and the staff is very helpful. I would suggest to make the Chettinadu tour from the hotel and the palce tour, both very interesting.
